My name is Thomas Smith. I live in Muncie, Indiana and the poems and songs you are about to read were written for  a woman who had a heart of gold and the eyes of an angel.

 All Poems are written as the original ones were. All of these poems were written over a 20 year period.

This Is What She Taught Me

Love is a seed that needs no water but only the tears of happiness to make it grow.

It takes honesty and trust to make it last. It takes the willingness and sacrifice of both people to make it endure. Lastly, it takes kindness and caring to make it last forever.

This book is dedicated to someone who taught me all of those things. I shall now and forever remember as the years pass me by.
